Marcy is nationally certified as a Care Manager through the National Academy of Certified Care Managers; and a National Certified Guardian through the Center for Guardianship Certification. Marcy has been a Geriatric Care Manager for 11 years, and has worked and volunteered with older adults for over thirty years. Her prior professional experience as a Medical Technologist, Hospice Bereavement Coordinator, and nursing facility Social Worker have also given her insight to the inner workings of the healthcare system.

In 2019, Marcy opened A Care Management Group with her husband Craig, where she continues to work one on one with her clients, assisting with the medical and financial concerns that occur in every stage of the aging process, from independent living to transitioning into a care facility if it becomes needed.

Volunteering has always been a passion for Marcy. She spent six years coordinating for her church’s homeless housing project with Angel House. She also helped launch Berthoud RAFT (a transportation program for older adults), and multiple programs aimed at improving the quality of life for nursing home residents. Marcy volunteered weekly for Meals on Wheels for 10 years. She is currently a board member on the A Little Help organization; a grassroots program that matches older adults with community members to help them stay as independent as possible by providing a little help with items like yard work or transportation.

Marcy and Craig live with their two children and dog in a small Front Range community and enjoys downhill and cross country skiing, taking walks, traveling, and being outdoors. Marcy especially enjoys spending time with all of her family here and out of town. She feels blessed to live in such a beautiful place with access to many adventures.

Marilyn Pechin

Assistant Care Manager

Marilyn began her career in older adult care because her parents lived so far away from her and she understood the challenges that went along with caring for aging parents in another state. She wanted to be able to help people here in the same situation. As she became connected to people, she helped with grocery shopping, light duty housework and taking them on errands and to appointments.

Her father began showing signs of dementia after a few strokes and later moved into a memory care facility in Virginia.  Marilyn would travel every other month for two weeks at a time to help her family and to be with him. During that time, she learned a lot about different positions in the aging field.  Since his passing in 2017, she has been working in the field in private homes, independent care, and assisted living facilities. She has a heart and passion for older adults and loves to interact with them daily and form close relationships.

Marilyn lives in a small Front Range community with her husband and a beast of a hound. Occasionally she also gets to enjoy seeing her two grown sons. Marilyn loves the outdoors and has a joyful lease on life.

Madison Deweese, BA

Care Manager

Madison is a Care Manager with a lifetime of experience working specifically with the aging population. She started as a server in high school, and continued to gain experience in several positions in long term care while she finished her college degree and obtained minors in gerontology, psychology, and sociology from the University of Missouri Kansas City. These positions include Dining Manger, Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medication Assistant, Human Resources Assistant, Memory Care Assistant Director, Activities Director, as well as Care Manager for a home care company in Boulder County. She served these positions in all levels of care; however, she has extensive experience in Memory Care and Independent Living settings. Madison says she loves that her job allows her to help people in some of the most important transitions in life, and her goal is to help people age where and how they wish.

She enjoys volunteering and being an active member in her small Boulder County town. Madison’s interest reaches further than other adults in this way. She is all about hyper local resources and enjoys meeting the people in her community through civil engagements and activism. She also runs a group to support local families of young children in her town.

Madison has always felt a “calling” to work with older adults. She was lucky enough to have both grandparents heavily involved in her upbringing and now, has helped them to age in place in Missouri. Madison grew up with her family, and grandparents in the Midwest. She has called Colorado home since 2017. When not helping clients, or volunteering, Madison is busy raising two young children, with her partner, and they love to explore the local food scene, adventuring across the state, exploring local hiking trails, rivers, and lakes, and spending time with friends and family! In her limited free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, doing yoga, and being out in nature whenever possible.
