Conservatorship Services
Conservatorship Services– These services are designed for those whom the court has determined have become unable to manage their property or business affairs. As a court appointed Legal Conservator, A Care Management Group will serve to responsibly manage the client’s financial affairs. This includes collecting and retaining financial assets, making investment decisions, paying the client’s expenses, and ensuring tax returns are property filed. To meet our client’s needs we may:
- Attend hearings and court appearances on behalf of the client
- Provide court testimony in the client’s Conservatorship case and prepare court mandated Conservatorship Reports
- Provide phone consultations with the client, their family members, and professionals or staff involved in their care
- Provide regular in-person visits at their residence, hospital, or other locations
- Coordinate with other professionals, including court appointed Guardians, agents under Power of Attorney, Trustees, attorneys, accountants, or financial advisors
- Prepare or work with other professionals to prepare tax returns
- Manage the client’s financial investments
- Research, arrange, or file claims on the client’s behalf including, but not limited to, prescription plans, medical insurance, long-term care insurance, transportation services, non-medical care providers, or housing options
Please note: Although ACMG offers/provides both Guardianship Services & Conservatorship Services as a matter of policy we do not provide both services for the same individual.
